Badge Holders

We value and appreciate the support of our badge holders.

In essence the club couldn’t possibly continue without their support.

Role & Contribution

Required:

Regular attendance at class;
Enthusiasm for all things Swing in the Isle;
Help with the ‘desk’ signing in and welcoming people to class;
Encourage;
Support Craig & Natasha in any/all/many of the following ways

Attributes that are beneficial:

Help set up equipment before class;
Help clear away equipment after class;
Befriend new people at class, ensuring they have someone to talk to and dance with;
Volunteer to help at external events;
Help run the social and practice classes;
Organise advertising around the island;
Be available to help anyone who is struggling to learn a move or has a question that is related to swing;
Be prepared to dance follow or lead in a class as needed;
Organise fund raising at events e.g. raffles;
Assist with various admin tasks;
Be a sounding board for ideas and development of plans;

This list is by no means exhaustive…..

Any member of Swing in the Isle can offer help at any time.

Any member of Swing in the Isle can nominate someone who they believe would be good at this role.

When members start to show willingness in a number of areas they may be invited to join the group by Natasha & Craig.

If they agree a badge is purchased for them.
